The Law Offices of Diana Santa Maria Joins the Cause to Feed the Hungry With Generous Donation to Fort Lauderdale ABOTA Chapter
Fort Lauderdale, FL – November, 2023 – In a heartwarming act of community support and solidarity, the Law Firm of Diana Santa Maria, P. A. made a generous $500. contribution to the Fort Lauderdale Chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA) which will be directed towards the 2023 Turkey Give-Away Charity Project, an initiative dedicated to providing Thanksgiving dinners to needy families in the community.
Steven R. Jaffe, Esq., known for his passion for helping the less fortunate, initiated this call for assistance from his peers. Over the past 14 years, this project has seen substantial growth thanks to the unwavering support of friends, lawyers, law firms, and community members.
Jaffe, in his heartfelt message to family and friends, shared, "Over the past 14 years, my friends, along with lawyers and many law firms, have donated time and money to help provide turkeys and fixings to loving families who need our help. I want to extend a sincere thank you to everyone involved. This year is no exception. Together with friends and former law partners, we have delivered a full Thanksgiving dinner to families in one of the county's neediest communities."
The project, which began 14 years ago by feeding 75 families, has shown remarkable growth. Last year, it successfully delivered Thanksgiving dinners to nearly 800 families, feeding approximately 2,400 individuals. This year, the project aims to distribute 850 turkeys, reaching over 3,000 people, marking it as the biggest year yet.
